AI Facial Attendance

Students are marked by face as they walk in, with nothing to carry or touch.

ROne's AI facial attendance system uses computer vision to identify students and staff at entry points without any card, finger press, or deliberate action. Students walk through the gate; the system records their presence in under one second. No bottlenecks, no queues, no proxy.

Real-time anti-spoofing distinguishes a live face from a photograph, screen image, or mask, making the system resistant to the most common bypass attempts. Multi-camera synchronisation covers wide gates, corridors, and multiple entry points simultaneously. All data syncs to the school ERP and triggers parent SMS alerts instantly.

Common questions

Can the AI attendance system be fooled by a photo?

No. ROne's AI facial attendance uses real-time anti-spoofing technology that distinguishes a live face from photographs, screen images, and printed photos. The system detects depth, texture, and liveness signals that two-dimensional images cannot replicate. This makes proxy attendance via photo impossible.

How does the system perform in low light or during morning assembly?

The cameras include adaptive lighting compensation that adjusts automatically for low-light environments such as early morning, shaded corridors, or indoor entry points. Recognition stays reliable across the lighting conditions tested at Northeast India deployments.

Does AI facial attendance work without internet connectivity?

The cameras process recognition locally. Attendance records are stored on-device when connectivity is unavailable and synced to the cloud and School ERP automatically when the connection restores. Parent SMS alerts are queued and sent as soon as connectivity resumes.

How many cameras are needed for a school gate?

A single gate typically requires 1-2 cameras depending on gate width. Wide entrances or multiple entry points can be covered with multi-camera synchronisation, the system merges data from all cameras into a single attendance record per student. ROne conducts a site survey before every deployment.
